I'd also like to add that the travel problem isn't nearly as bad in a war. You have people fighting just for the sake of fighting, and it is never real easy to travel.

I've found recently that mwd is pretty good for running missions in a destroyer, but not so good for general ratting. Makes it very hard to maneuver effectively at under 10 km. I'm putting my cold gas AB back in.

The reason why missiles really damaged you is that the angel missiles do explosive damage and whilst shields have good explosive resists naturally, armour does not.

In min you can be soloing 0.2 systems within 2 weeks in a plated thrasher if you go a little west of amamake and take on the sanshas. So I wouldn't call min PvE gimped.
